MICS 2010 will be held on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus. Eau Claire is located in west-central Wisconsin about 90 miles east of St. Paul, Minnesota. It has a population of about 61,000, with the population of the surrounding Chippewa Valley totaling about 125,000.

Eau Claire is located at the confluence of the Eau Claire and Chippewa Rivers, and its geography is characterized by the river valleys, with steep slopes leading from the city's center to its eastern and southern sections. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is located on the banks of the Chippewa River, with a footbridge connecting the north and south sections of the campus.

If you have a few extra hours before, during, or after the Symposium, take a walk on the Chippewa River Trail, which runs through the campus along the north bank of the Chippewa River.
