Background:

Joline joined the Computer Science Department as an Associate Professor in August 2005 after spending 10 years in the Management Information Systems Department at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. Before that, she taught for three years at the University of Iowa. Her expertise areas are in all aspects of database management, including database design, application development, and database administration. Joline and her husband Mike have written seven academic textbooks on developing database and Web database applications.

• Ph.D., University of Arizona, Business Administration, 1992 (Major: MIS; Minor: Electrical and Computer Engineering.
• B.S., University of Wyoming, Engineering, 1980

Interests:

Joline's research interests include database and Web-based database system development, knowledge management, and group support systems.
