Background:

Mike joined the computer science department in August, 2005 after teaching for 10 years in the UWEC MIS department and 3 years at the University of Iowa. Areas of computer expertise include networking, Web development, application development, database design and database administration. Mike has coauthored seven books on developing Web and database applications with Joline Morrison.

Research interests include systems development and programming (Web, distributed, standalone, etc.), database design and development, and networking issues related to systems development.
