The Department of Computer Science at UWEC is committed to providing the top programs in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Software Engineering in the upper midwest. Our Computer Science program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. And for three years in a row (in 2001/2002/2003), we were nominated for the University of Wisconsin System Outstanding Teaching Department.
