Earning credit for an internship in CS requires departmental approval. You can of course accept an internship without credit at any time, but if you want CS credit, check with the internship coordinator, Dr. Jack Tan.
Best Advice: Start Early!
Before you can get an interview, you must sign up with career services. You should do this as early as possible, PREFERABLY 2 SEMESTERS before you would like to start working. If you wait until the semester before you want to begin work, you may miss some deadlines and not be able to get the interviews you want.
You can't just go to career services the week before you want to interview and expect that they will be able to set you up. Be sure to follow the proper steps to obtain an interview. You may register with career services before your junior year.
